This investment represents a $50 million senior subordinated debt investment in Petra Fund REIT Corp.

Petra’s investment strategy is centered on the origination and securitization of loans secured by commercial real estate. This strategy enables the Petra Fund to create a core portfolio of high yield real estate debt instruments including first mortgages, B-notes, and mezzanine loans. Petra manages credit risk through asset diversification by property type, geographic exposure and borrower concentration.

Petra’s current portfolio consists of $1,370,000,000 of commercial real estate debt secured by approximately 60 core real estate assets with a total value of $1,720,000,000.
